    Hi

I am triying to set up my first rig so I bought two DB112 cabs that I want to run into a benz genz sutthle 6.0

My question is how to connect the cabs into the amp in a parallel way?

The amp produce 300w at 8 ohms and 600w at 4 ohms, the cabs are 300w each at 8 ohms.

The amp has two s speakon outputs and the cabs have one speakon input and two 1/4.

Should I run two speakon connectors from the amp to each cab and then use a 1/4 cable from one cab to another?

I am new and I have not idea how to do it and of course I do not want to cause any damage to my rig.

    I really appreciate your support

    Thanks

    Pedro

  2. EITHER:

One cable from head to EACH cab

    OR

One cable from head to one of the cabs, then one cable from cab #1 to cab #2

DO NOT run a cable to each cab from the head, then also connect each cab to the other

One way or the other NOT BOTH

You can run 2 Speakons from the amp, 1 to each cab. Done. Or, you can run 1 Speakon to 1 cab, and from that cab to the other. Same thing. No need of a 3rd cable. Make sure you're using speaker cable.

Thank you so much for the help.

I will try one cable from the head to the cab and then one from the cab to another .
