    Hey all!

I could use some help diagnosing my Ibanez SR535... It's got a slight crackle that only seems to happen when I'm standing/moving/playing or when I wiggle the cable when it's plugged in. If the volume's not on, no problem.

I know it's not any of the pots, it's not the cable (I've tried 4 and had the same result) and I replaced the output jack this morning... and still had the same crackle.

My next thought is to check under the bridge to see if it's grounded properly (ARE bridges grounded? thought I read that somewhere...), but it doesn't make a difference if I'm touching the strings or not. If it's not the bridge, I'm tempted to replace the whole preamp.

It's not loud, but it's enough to really irritate me, as I'm sure you could all agree. Does anyone have any thoughts?:help:

    Thanks in advance!

    5sg.

P.S. If it helps, I could record a clip...

I'm assuming the 535 is a newer model? I'd have warranty service done. It may be a bad pre!
