Hey Folks, I have found a used Tobias 4 string for sale, but know nothing about these basses. I got the following description of the bass and pics from the seller (obviously pulled off some website). I will likely have a chance to play it this weekend. The question is, can anyone identify a model for me? Or at least hazzard a guess on the monetary value? (i.e., what is a fair price??) Any help you guys can give would be much appreciated. Bump Sorry the info is not super helpful, maybe, but I don't know much about this thing. Even ballparkprice guess would be extremely helpful. Thanks all.
Looks to me like one of the Gibson owned Tobiases available at Musicyo.com. you sould be able to find that particular model there. Of course, I could be wrong.
Yep, it's a Korean-made Toby Deluxe, though the electronics have been messed with since it's missing a knob. You see them a bunch on E-bay, frequently with starting prices or Buy It Now prices that are higher than you can get them new from MusicYo. Since the new price is about $340 and they're easy to find, a reasonable used price would probably be something in the $200-250 range. Mike
