I have been playing an Aria Pro II for about a year now, it has served me well. I am ready to upgrade to a big kids bass now and I need some advice on what kind to buy. I am looking for a good tone and a lot of sustain. I am leaning towards an Ibanez Ergodyne, but am not set in stone. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

You can't beat somethin' with a 2Tek bridge for insane sustain...

The "Mayan Gold" series at the Boogie Body/2Tek site come equipped with these bridges.
They LIST beginning at around $1500 ~ http://www.cyber-tec.com/boogie/bass.html

Also, a "Hamer Cruise" (w/2Tek) will occasionally pop up on ebay or Bass Northwest.
    Here's what they look like ~ http://gbase.com/guitar_picture.asp?guitar=189871

Finally  , you can click on "search" at the top of the page
and enter "new bass" or something like that. It's a popular thread topic ;) .

    Almost forgot...Welcome to TalkBass! :D
