  1. Hi TB'ers, I have a problem,:help:I play an Epiphone viola bass and i have a (crappy) 15 watt roland cube.
I am thinking about a new combo,my budget is around 500 euros(727,76 Dollar) and i like a warm bassy tone, i'll be playing rock, jazz and blues.
i recently saw this combo: Ashdown MAG c410t-300 EVO II http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?ID=79
    opinions , please?

No experience with the Ashdown but you're within reach of a used GK 700RB combo which is one of the better combos IME.

I use a GK 1001RB II most of the time but they are a little more dough.

The warmest sounding combo's I'm aware of are the Ampeg Rocket bass amps. There's the B100R, and B200R, and if you can find one, there used to be a B50R. Any of these will sound warm and old school, and I believe they all have a 15" driver.

Markbass CMD 121P. Best combo out there, IMHO.
