I have an '03 Warwick Jazzman with the satin honey violin finish, and the rear upper side of the bass (above the straplock) has developed a pair of small white splotches in the finish. They don't protrude through. I was wondering if this is just a wax or oil type finish if I could get some extremely small grit sandpaper to remove them. If so, what could I buy to refinish those areas after the sanding? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  2. The Warwick website has some tips available, but I don't know if they address specifically what you need. Dana B. Goods are the folks you need to talk to. They're awesome.

Never seen this before. You aren't waxing the satin finish are you? That would be a bad thing. Satin finishes need nothing.
