Thinking about getting a small backup amp. These are my choices right now: GK MB2 500, GB Shuttle 6 and MB II or MB F1? Which amp do you playa's like and why? Thanks!

I used to have the LM II, great amp! I only sold it because I bought a F1. :)

I've also been in the hunt for a micro head so I could rotate my old G.K. 800 head, (bought it new in 1984), to the rehearsal space.
    This is what I've found.
G.B. 3.0....very soft 300 watts, love the weight.
G.B. 6.0....very soft 600 watts, nice tone, my old G.K. 800 was louder.
Eden WTX 260...."NICE" sounding, not enough power for most gigging bassist. Bad "clicking" sound when the limiter rails are hit.
G.K. MB2 500....Found two to try, first one wouldn't work right out of the box, second one wanted to work but only cracked and popped.
MarkBass LM II....Nice sound, great price, plenty of power. Just not 100% sure it's my sound.
    I want to hear a working G.K. MB2 500 and a Eden WTX500 before I make my decision.

I bought a GK MBII 500, but it was too bright for me. So, I returned and purchased MB LMII. Will try out tomorrow, but I think it's what I'm looking for. Thanks for everyone's help. Peace!
