I have two Peavey 112DL's that I use with my practice PA. Yesterday, I noticed one was distorting. I switched channels and the problem followed the cab. Is there any simple way to tell if it is the xover, 12" speaker, or horn?

Mods feel free to move to misc. I thought that this was more amp related.

Try playing with signal and EQ.

Try a high freq signal and a low freq signal and see if you can isolate which driver is screwing up by putting your ear near it (carefully).

My guess would be the XO is ok; the other parts usually have more reasons to fry first.
