Need help with a skb case.

    I just got a svt2pro.I need to know where I can get one for a good price and also what size I will need for this amp.

    I am not an Ampeg expert, but it looks as if you will need at least a three space rack. That will only accomodate the SVT, though. If you have more gear that needs to be racked, a larger one will be required. The best deals can be found, IMO, at your local music shop. Just look for a used rack that is still structurally and mechanically (i.e. front and back cover clamps) sound.

    Racks come in standard sizes based on the dimension that one space (1U) equals 1-3/4 in. in height (they're designed for 19 in. wide gear).

    Measure your amp, divide by 1.75 you'll know how many spaces you'll need.
