I might be trading for a fender P-Bass but it has the neck of a fender Jazz bass is there any way to tell if its a true american p-bass without the neck? heck it might even be a squire body idk. any suggestion? also i forgot to see if he has the old neck but i think he he didn't. so is there anyother way to identify this bass? thanks
ask what year the body is.If its an american standard made form 95' up it should be string through body, meaning the strings go through the back. If he claims it a 2000 or something like that and its not string through than its obviously not fender american unless its some reissue like a 62' etc. So first ask what year, and color.
its a 98 and its white with a worn look. Its hard to tell from the pic i have but it does not look like a string though body
