Hello there! The time has come, finally! A new bass! I have played a Louder Fender copy for about a year now. With my band I play mostly metal\Black Metal, but at home I play funk, oldies, some rock etc.
I have a quite tight budget, so it stands between theese three basses; The OLP MM2, Epiphone EB3 and Epiphone Thunderbird Goth.
Hope you guys can help me out with this!

    Best Regards

I haven't played either of those Epi's, but I LOVE my OLP. After you get paid for a couple of more gigs you can replace the Chinese passive pickup with a nice Seymour Duncan active / preamp package and then it will be almost perfect. I played Fender P and J basses for over 20 years and also a few Ibanezes, and I have made the OLP my primary gig bass. Your results may vary.
