I just received an eden wtdi preamp. It works when I plug it in via bass directly into it and then into my amp. Sounds fantastic. When I plug in my tuner into the chain, it doesnt work, gives a loud pop when engaging bypass. I checked all cables, not the issue. Is this one defective or am I missing something??? Can it be used in conjunction with a tuner or other pedals?? Anyone shed me some light?
    Thanks

Seems to me the problem is with the tuner.

Its a korg pitchblack, and it seems to work fine. When I have a cable loop with only the Korg in the signal path, the tuner works fine, when I replace the Korg with the Eden, it doesnt work in the same signal path. This signal path involves my pedal board, and again it works with the tuner but not the Eden. Now the kicker is when I do not use the board and use only two cables with the Eden, it works. ????? It is almost like more than two cables in the signal path and the Eden doesnt work but the tuner does.??? I cant figure it out....

I think he means what kind of power supply are you using. Some pedals do not like to be daisy chained and need their own dedicated power source. This probably why this is happening.

Are you using a One Spot by chance? If so, do you have a 9v adapter you can try with the Eden instead.

If that's not the problem, then I don't know.

That pop usually is from something being grounded wrong.

Yes I was using the pedal boards one spot.
I will give that a try, thanks for the info.
    Greatly appreciated.

Well the tuner requires 9V and the preamp requires 12-18V ...so, I was curious about how you are supplying power.
