Thanks to y'all at talkbass, I recently uncovered that my bass is a Gibson SB-450 (shortscale)...now the follow up in the setup section :)

This thing needs a new bridge and I want to know if it is possible to locate an original (or copy of the original) or should I go with one of the replacement bridges that are on the market?

    Thanks

Gee dude, i dont know where you could get an original bridge for it. but if you get a replacment bride, look into a "badass2" Bridge. very soild. and i think it might be a little better than the stock one that came on your gibson.

I'll be darned if I can find a pic of this bass, so I
don't know what the original bridge looks like :(.
There's probably something close to it at Allparts.

Also, Schaller makes a hefty lookin' one - the "460"...
