The Conklin power steel High F string has a gauge of .018...it's stainless, but I don't know of many makers who even have bass strings that thin. Some of the guys here know about custom strings, maybe they'll have more to say.
He said, ".17-.2" not, ".017-.02."
So, to answer your question... I have no idea. Sorry.
