Need Some Advice

  1. Wassup fellas and felletts...

Quick question...what is the best instructional video out there for a guy whos been playing a long time, but is self taught. Or give me the pros and cons of any instructional video('s) that you own or bought and returned for one reason or another. I want to pick up a video to learn from, but I don't want to drop $50 on a crap video.

  2. Hey Marc.. I like Jaco's "Modern Electric Bass." Lots of cool exercises in there, and it comes with a booklet with them all written out. I got a lot out of it.
  3. Thanks for the input, Dave. I'll check that out (even though that's one the $50 tapes! :)).

    Anyone else?

I'd recommend the Dave LaRue tape as well. Haven't seen it myself, but knowing Dave (I had the incredible good fortune to study with him), I'm certain it's excellent and will give you plenty of stuff to work on.
