I got my BX100, which I like and all. But I am going away to college and I need something like half the size for my dorm room, cuz space is mighty limited, any reccomendations, I am willing to buy something used or whatever, just wanna try and keep it like 250ish.

I recommend the Fender Bassman 25.

Portable, sounds good and loud for it's size.

Also it's within your price range easily used, and almost in your range if new.

Another vote for the Fender Bassman 25. Great sound. Has a Aux input for tape player (RCA) and a headphone jack. Great for practice, and small jams

    Good Luck :)

I only played them at the store but try looking into the SWR LA series. They are comparable to the BX100 in quality and inexpensive and sound decent and have a nice compact design. (Assuming that the BX100 is a CRATE)
