    Hi!!

Our band is on hold, so the bassist and I (lead singer/rhythm) want to put an acoustic set together to take out with the drum machine. I'm primarily a 70's guy, and I like the acoustic stuff from the 90's too.

Our bassist really knows how to walk around the fretboard, so I want to come up with songs that showcase the bass. A good example is Sister Golden Hair.

    Any ideas! Thanks!!

  2. If you really listen to a lot of the stuff from that era you will find that many of those songs have worth-while basslines. Some of the really good ones come from:

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - "Suite Judy Blue Eyes"
The Beatles - "Rain" - "Tax Man" - "Dear Prudence"
    Led Zeppelin - "Ramble on"
Steely Dan - "Peg" (Just cuz I just learned that one!)

I may add more later as they come to me...
