Need to ask a silly question about hook up rack gear, whats the chain?

Amp has a tuner out? But that's problematic. Most as in 99.999% want to go mute when tuning. Ordinarily goes bass to tuner to the rest ( maximimisers usually go in the bin ).

 

The tuner’s input on the front is instrument level, when you plug in there, it mutes the line level input in the back. Your bass should go into the front input.

If you have an active bass, you may be able to use the rear input.

Which should be on top of the tuner. Clip on tuners are so accurate and easy to use these days carrying the weight of a rack mount unit is just added work.

 

I go thru my pedals, then from pedals to input on back of tuner, then output on back of tuner to my power amp. Works fine as long as the Korg is turned on otherwise no signal.

 

Most tuner outs on amp remain active when the amp's mute function is engaged... for just this purpose.

LOL, Korg should start marketing a rackmounted combination tuner/power conditioner/sonic maximizer. A freakin one pitch strikeout right there!

 

Run your tuner through the effects loop,ditch the Sonic tone suck.

 

Lose the bbe the conditioner and the tuner and downsize to only the amp in an appropriate sized rack. Buy a snark.

Bass>amp>cab done.

 

really only 2 possibilities, bad tuner, or youre not connecting to the right jacks.

telling us exactly where youre plugging in at would help,
