I have a Fender HotRodd and I love the sound the pickups give, but the line level coming out of bass is much lower than that of my other basses, so it's really making me push the amp to hear on stage. Anybody have a suggestion for how to push my line level (maybe using some sort of stomp box)? I really don't want to replace the pickups. :help:

    Thanks!

If i were you i'd buy a sadowsky outboard preamp, it'd work well with your fender. I think fodera and aguilar also make nice outboard preamps.

    Have you checked/adjusted pickup height?

  4. Turn the volume on the bass up!

MXR Micro Amp pedal, cheap, well made, cleanboost that can fix many sound level and tone problems. It will make you loud and fat.
