I guess this is the most appropriate place to post this. ??

I have a Chandler P bass body that I've built a great sounding bass with. I purchased it 15 years ago and seller is no longer in area. He gave me a cheap pickguard with it. It's peeling and looks like crap now. I purchased an Ebay P-Bass guard which didn't fit. How do I know which P-Bass this is?
Does anyone have templates, drawings (cad) or measurements?

    Thanks

P-Bass patterns are pretty standard (not like the Jazz bass). If the e-bay guard doesn't work it may be that you need a custom guard. (I think Warmouth could do it.) If you think it's the e-bay guard, go to GC with your bass and see if their Fender brand pick guards fit.

    Good Luck

  3. P-bass pickguards have fit issues also.

The absolute best way to replace yours is send it to:

    Pickguards.Com

You can get anything you want from them, and it will be guaranteed to fit, because they use your old one as the template.
