Need to know true market value...

    Hi, all! I have an Ibanez SRX500 (played once and put back in the case) that was listed on Ebay-- no takers even though I thought the reserve was very good on a nearly new bass (less than $300 US). Did I overestimate the value or is it the economy? Lemme know.

    Two recently sold for $280 and $170 on eBay, and another failed to sell for $200. Perhaps try relisting with no reserve and let the market determine the price?

    On ebay, take GOOD, outdoor, natural light, pictures, set the price at $1 NR and let it fly. It will fetch what the market will bear. I've made more money that way on instruments that I would have asked less for. If you have to have 300 then put it on craigs list and wait.

    I'd say anywhere between $170 - $250. I picked one up off Craigslist for $200 about a year ago. Nice bass - though it's taken a back seat to me playing my SRX400.
