i don't get it. He's fast, but not "that fast," and not particularly groovy.

I've never heard groovy tribal drumming.

I'd say that for a street preacher banging on 5 gallon buckets, he has a good knowledge of polyrythyms and great independence.

I like how he has a stack of like 10 extra buckets. Probably in case he breaks one.

Joey Jordison? That guy is nothing special at all. Not groove wise, chops wise, anything wise. Why should he even be considered in a comparision between two totally unique voices on their instrument?

In context, I think he's talking about Joey ______ from Aerosmith.

This cat's a bit of a shredder, he played... sorta fast... on buckets. Any real drummer could do what he was doing... they just usually do it on drums.

Sorry guys...I just thought it was a neat clip.

As far as Joey Jordinson is concerned...I do believe even Neil stated some words to the affect, that kid is good. Read it in a magazine or online somewhere. Not sure so I could be wrong. Do I believe he is the best? Does it matter who I believe is best? Maybe I should have picked a different drummer to better suit the tastes of everyone here I guess. So here goes...Buddy Rich, Keith Moon, Tommy Lee, Animal, Danny Carey, Stewart Copeland, Ringo Starr, Lars Ulrich, Vic Firth, Mic Fleetwood, Jeff Campetelli, Tim Alexander, Brain, Alex Van Halen, Phil Collins...

Feel free to add whomever you believe should be up there otherwise.

To clarify, all these comments were about Jordison. I think the street preacher dude is very cool.

To beat a dead horse. Mr. Slipknot is a good a drummer as any death metal drummer ever.
