If the 210 XLT is almost $400 "better" than the Nemesis 210, why can't the XLT get the low frequency response specs. of the Nemesis?

  2. Nemesis
    225 Watts RMS
    Frequency Response 35 hz - 15 khz
    Sensitivity 100 db/SPL

    210XLT
    350 Watts RMS
    Sensitivity 104DB SPL @ 1w 1m
    Frequency Response +/- 2db 48hz to 14khz -6db @ 35hz

It does have virtually the same frequency response except for the difference in the tweeter. The XLT loses 6db @ 35hz, so what, it's 4db louder than the Nemesis to start of with. That leaves a deficit of 2db @ 35hz compared to the Nemesis. A 2db difference isn't even enough to hear.

And for all we know the freq. response of the Nemesis could be rated at +- 10dB or something like that. You'd really have to try out the cabs to find out how they perform.
