MY NEXT ONE IS GOING TO BE OFF WHITE/CREAM.

  2. Hehe, my P-bass is black and dust and other s*** shows up very easily, but it looks sweet! :D

  3. my bass is a matallic gold. It's amizing you don't see any thing on it.

I think i might get a new pick gard for it, what colour do you think would go with gold.

Yeah, I have a Blueburst G&L and you can see the dust even on the blue parts.
What I do is get one of those air dust sprayers that come in the aerosol cans and give the bass a spritzing of air once and a while.

  6. Black and gold are my High School's colors.

I can't really think of any color that would go with a gold bass.

I'll pay you $50 for your bass if you hate it so much.

I don't really notice any dust or anything on my black 5 string. I don't think THAT MUCH dust collects on black basses, maybe you just keep your bass in a dusty place. Heh, that's a funny saying.

Here's a quick fix: Coat your entire bass with a light film of glue, then let it sit in the dustiest part of your home (I would recommend right in front of one of the heat registers, with the furnace filter removed) overnight. In the morning, your bass will have a one-of-a-kind finish and you shouldn't ever notice any new dust build up ever again! :D Tee hee.

  10. Maby ill do that to my les Paul, of cource it cost me $15 cdn. and its made by harmony

But if your Les Paul was metallic gold, you wouldn't see any of the dirt on it anyway, right? ;)

Get a clean cloth and clean the bass with it. Maybe ad some Guitarpolish.

I never had trouble with my black basses.

It's not that there's that much dust around, it's that if there are 40 specks of dust on your black bass, ALL 40 of them stand out like albinos at an NAACP meeting.

my soundgear is completely black. It never picks up dust. But it's full of fingerprints and smudges. Ironically, My bright cream colored strat with the pristine white pickboard picks up large amounts of unsightly dust (but only between the pickups for some reason.)

it like the guys that came into the bass shop i was in yesterday. there want to try £2k EA bass rigs, their told to get any bass they want, they pick up a £3.5k marleaux start playing Marcus's "power", then say " how much does this thing cost?"

    "£3.5k replies the shop manager

" the guys reply "you do realise i've put fingerprints on it now! :( "

HE'S JUST WACKED **** OUTA IT FOR THE PAST HOUR, THEN HE'S SORRY FOR PUTTING SOME FINGERPRINTS ON IT
