Never played dem blues

I have been offered to play bass in a blues group with two very talented and seasoned players I know. It will be 2 guitars, 1 piano/keyboard, and eventually a drummer.

The problem is that I've never really played blues before. It seems like it won't be too difficult to catch on, but are there any tricks or advice I should learn before hand.

Also if anyone has any suggestions of groups or players I should take a listen to that would be most appreciated.
