    I can attest that a jazz with Fralin's sounds sooooooo good through an Aguilar rig....mmm...

    I add my congratulations and had thought about this bass for a while. Does anyone have opinion about this bass with or without outboard preamp and one of the jazz bass makes with onboard active electronics? Did you want a passive classic sound. I had a 64 jazz many years ago and have always missed it. Now too expensive--does this come close?

    I've got Fralins in my Cote Continuum and I LUV them. I still say that those passive p/us have more tonal variety than any of my active basses. Enjoy!
  11. it looks smashing.. though if I was you I would remove the screw for the ashtray away.. it's still so sweet.. (I have a fetish for jazzes :D)
