I received an Aguilar DB359 head on a trade from Bassnote6 for my Zebrawood 5 a month or so ago. I played it at rehearsal a couple of times through an SVT810 that the rehearsal studio has and, OMG!!!!!!!! it's pretty awesome.

I ordered and just received a GS410 and the gig I was going to use it on tomorrow has been cancelled. :( I just got the cab last night and, even now, I can't really play it becasue my 2 children are under the weather and sleeping.

Our next gig is on Feb 18th at the "Wicked Monk" in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and it'll get christened then. :)

I took a couple of pics last night for your viewing pleasure.

The 359 is THE amp. You will not be dissapointed. This amp is the reason I have every other piece of aggie gear. Rich warm and buttery are an understatement on the tone.

It's probably not the best thing to play while the kids are sick. It can be bone rattling.

  6. That is a great setup congrats. someday i will own a full aggie rig. maybe when i win the lotto :(

So, the REAL reason for why Sadowsky's are so expensive is....The overhead for Nino's Crib, Rig and Tube????
    :D

  11. Nice to see that you're finally aboard, Nino. There's a setup that will do your basses proper credit! Enjoy.

Aguilar is the only way to fly for me as well. I wish the 359 was about 30 pounds lighter though.

    Congrats sir.

  13. The db is heavy & so's the sound.... :bassist: ...I love mine........
Keep your back straight when you pick it up & enjoy !

Do you se the amp that I've been gigging with that's next to the Aggie? :)

The Aggie is a feather weight next to the SVT-IIPRO. :D

This might seem silly, but how loud is it compared to the SVTII-Pro rig next to it?

The gig on FEb 18th was a no-go. They forgot to mention that we has to supply the PA so we didn't play.
