hey right now i have a fender bassman 60 and its really bad, so im thinking about gettin a hartke 1*15 cab and a SWR workingman's 2004. i play a squire p bass and the amp sounds good in the store, but i saw a review that says the SWR 2004 isnt good for a band....what should i do?

Maybe you should try it first? I'm sure they have a return policy at the store. Try it in a band situation if possible and if it doesnt work out, return it.

I was kidding with the above quote by the way.. I forgot the ;). I was trying to sound like a commercial (2004 not enough?! Get the 4004!!)

ndjx is right. Don't base your purchases soley on other people's opinions. Do what he suggested...of course it better be a non smoking gig or they may not accept it as a return.
