So, after months of saving and research, I finally got my new rig. It's a Gallien-Krueger 1001RB running through an Avatar 2X12 cab with Neo speakers.

I love it to death. Everything I play sounds at least 20% better. It's loud enough to play small gigs, and the 2X12 hands over enough volume and punchiness. The 4X10 was not deep enough for me, and the 1X15 just didn't have that brightness I needed.

Sunday was the first day I played it at some kind of a gig. It was an open mic night that my band played at. They had a really old Fender stack, and I wanted to test this thing out. I got there, we played for about half an hour, and it sounded great.

I just wanted to thank everyone on TB who helped me build my rig. You guys answered every question I had. Thanks for everything ;) I'll get pics and soundclips up when I get the chance...
