I've been watching the Craigslist ads for a backup head recently and I saw an ad for a SVT 3Pro, a SVT 410 HLN, SKB rack, Behringer compressor, and Furman power conditioner for $300!

Needless to say, I jumped on it, but was told someone was on the way to pick it up. The seller contacted me several hours later and asked if I still wanted it. The buyer didn't have cash and wanted to give him a check.

When I got there, they had an Ampeg B2 combo that they hadn't listed yet. I asked how much for that and they said $50!!!

I gave them $400 for the lot and they threw in 2 sets of strings, a box of cables, and a stand.

The SVT 3Pro was distorting badly, but it just needed to have the MOSFET bias adjusted.

I've been using a GK 1001 RBII for years, but can't wait to gig the 3Pro tomorrow.
