New amp day

    20170911_220236.jpg I finally had to check out the TC Electronic 250 head. I still have a hard time it not weighing 40+ pounds. Only played it at low volume thru a SWR pro 12 cabinet. So far it sounds good. I am old school, not much for any effects so the tone print I don't care much about. I will later check it out. Do like the simple layout. Plus, 30 pound cabinet + 4 pound amp. I have a net reduction of gear to carry around of 26 pounds!

    Congratulations on your new amp. Since you are old school, do check out the Toneprints. The Spectracomp is an awesome compressor and the Spectracomp and Drive Toneprint gives the amp a tube like sound and feel even in small dosages. There are some nice effect Toneprints also, but the drives and compressors really do breathe life into the amp. Enjoy.
