    Hey all, :)

im new around here but not to bass.

Im getting a new amp for xmas, been and gone but an xmas prezzy.

Im thinking along the lines of GK 1001RB II and a Goliath 3. Another other suggestions? does it sound good?
Should i wait for a 4x12 to come into stock, are they worth it?

    Thanks in advance

  2. I would specify a budget and what kind of sound you want.

The GK is a very flexible amp...

Goliaths have their own sonic signature, far different than a 4x12. If you're referring to the SWR 4x12, I don't believe that it has a tweeter and it might be sealed and will probably sound way different than a Goliath III.

If you like mids and SWR is your cabinet brand of choice, check out the Workingman's 410T. Less expensive and they sound better (to my ears).

    Have fun!!!!
