You'll get answers to most of your amp questions by taking advantage of the Search feature here at TB. Once you find some gear you like, or are interested in, then start asking people how they use it, and make sure you always make clear what type of bass and music you play.

A Squier amp is not gonna have much resale value. I'd donate it to a beginner so he can learn on it. Or, the more fun option is burning it:

That will keep up with an acoustic guitar. No more.

the rumbole man 60 hows that?

  12. I doubt you'd get more than $50 for that tiny amp you have now, might as well keep it around for extreme low volume practices/jams where portability is a huge issue.

I think something like a 200watt Yorkville 1x15 combo might be what you're looking for. It'll be able to keep up with a couple of 1x12 guitar amps, and you should be able to find a used one for $400-$600 CDN.

I wouldn't recommend buying speakers at Future Shop.

  13. Do you mean the bass player from "Our
Lady Peace"? Anyway, you should maybe look at a Yorkville combo (with a single 15" speaker possibly).

    Y yes

Yorkvill 200 -See that would be cool.
But its kinda on the wrong side of 600$. if you know what i mean.
"NOW" I'm just trying to find a replacement for my Damn Squier.

this is what i have on the table right now.

    Yorkvill XM100
    Fender Rumble 60 or 100

and i have never seen a yorkvill in my L&M before
