New 'baby' addition to the family...

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Mike Flynn, Jan 3, 2005.

  1. I finally bought one of these little angels - yes a SWR Baby Baby Blue - it really is lovely - excellent sound and dynamics and it's pretty loud for its size:

and compared to my EBS set up it takes up a lot less room - but rest assured I still have the big fella - which is tiny by some standards here - but I only need 300W.

    Happy new year

    very nice.

i'm not sure if that combo will let you dosconnect the internal speaker or not. there should be two jacks on the back, one says "speaker" and the other says "extention speaker". I think there is actually a cord coming out of the cab that plugs into the speaker jack so you can use other cabinets with it. I used my electric blue to run 6 tens and it did pretty good for 150 watts. In any event, consider getting an 8 ohm extension speaker for it, pick your favorite 12" maybe. That amp seems to come into its own with a 4 ohm load.

    have fun.
