Hi... Today I am the extremely proud owner of a Mørch..or Moerch..It's a Danish builder, not very known of in the rest of Europe and US.. Now to the bass... It's from 74' and is extremely well built...And the sound is to die for.. I would characterize it to be between a old Jazz and a...oh..a Mørch.. Tjeck his website.. www.morch-guitars.dk Here's the pictures
Very cool! Looks to be in great shape for a 29 years old bass. I really like the recessed bridge... Congrats!
Thanks... Yeah it's in fantastic shape, only some minor dings and scratches on the back.. But what matters: The sound kills... It just sound so good..
I love the shape of that! That upper horn looks hella cool like that! Have fun with it man, get some sound clips for us too!
Hey.... Tak.. det er bare en dejlig sag..! ups forresten...Det er ikke hver dag jeg ser endnu en DK'er...Rock on
Very very nice! How much do you think a new one would go for? And what type of sound would you say it has, example bright, bassy, etc?
Hi... The start price for a new one is about 2800 euro... check his website for more info .. www.morch-guitars.dk... My bass sounds most of all like a hybrid between a old 70's Jazz and a Mørch.. It's very difficult to describe the sound, it's very defined and growly, yet round and warm...
Wow, great beautiful instrument. Thank you for sharing this bass with us! To some of us that really don't get to see fine/Rare instruments like this, it is very cool that there are cats around the globe willing to share their findings? Sound Clips? Review?
Gee.. A review.. I'm working on it..Still in the test phase.. And soundclips thats a problem.. I dont know how to record on my computer .. Guess im stupid... Review coming soon..
Mikkel_Skov dude, not stupid... I can't record on my computer... I have to go to some cat's house and have him bump the sound clip to an MP3 sample, when ever I do.... Look forward to hearing more about the Mørch.
