So finally I got a new Bass and it has a maple fingerboard that I've always had my eye on and I love it it's a Sterling Sub Ray4
    and it's the best.
That's all I just wanted to share thanks. 20181008_125042.

Dig the Seafoam Green. Enjoy it.
Edit: Mint Green, still love the color.
    How’s the weight?

Beautiful! HNBD. Pastel colors go so well with Maple necks.

Yeah, if I got this response to a classified ad I’d definitely buy that bass.

  10. Awesome! I have the exact same bass (only I modded the crap out of it). Enjoy your new toy!

PS....how is the preamp on that bass. Assuming they have addressed the previous volume and hotness issues?

  11. Very nice bass. Treat her right.

what mods did you do to yours? I have a nordstrand Preamp, Aguilar Pickup, new hipshot tuners w/ d-tuner. so basically, all that's left is the neck and body!!! but I do love it. one of the easiest playing basses I have ever owned.

PS - congrats on the new bass!

Those are great basses, played one recently at GC and was very impressed. I've never liked Rays much, but this one had a great punch, easy to play, and the price is reasonable for what you get, which is a totally giggable bass.

Yea this bass kicks. I'm glad I went with this and not the Talman (not dissing it at all) and thanks bearfoot for accepting the photo lol

  17. Turns out the Steve Harris Precision is around 10 - 12 lbs..
    :smug:

  18. Hipshot Ultralite tuners, EMG Pickup. EMG BQS Preamp, pots and jack. New Hipshot bridge is next up. Honestly, not thrilled with the EMG system.....thinking of dropping in a Nordstrand at some point, but for now it's VASTLY better than stock. :D
