    And here's a little knock-knack I found great - note the discreet LED in th next pic;

    Look what happens when you plug the lead in;

    Depending on how many times the LED blinks, you know if the battery is OK or ready to change.

    SPECS:

    Body = Swamp Ash, Neck 35" Scale Maple/Maple f/b
    Pup = Nordstrand MM5.4 4 pole humbucker
    On Board EQ = Audere 3ZB - Passive/Active - Split/Series/Parallel - LowZ/MidZ/HiZ switching
    Bridge = Hipshot A String thru brass
    M/CHeads = Hipshot 1/2" Clover Lites

    Sound: - Unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!:) :) it's only taken me 35 years bass playing to find it!!!

    The body and neck was built by US Custom Guitars who I give 10/10 for quality, 0.5/10 for delivery ( promised 2 weeks in March and it arrived in September - at least it was in the same year) and 11/10 for the b/s stories they spun when enquiring about my order.

    I was going to finish the build myself but beacuse of a devastating family tragedy in July, I didn't have my heart in it so my Luthier friend assmbled it.

    This was certainly worth building.

    I wouldn't know how to go about posting clips - what's the best way of doing that? Do I have to get special recording gear or what?

    This bass is 35" scale and MM's are 34" so the "sweet Spot", IMO, doesn't really apply.

    Yes, for a 35" scale neck it's exactly where it should be.
