I love the faded Sonic Blue color. It's almost white in some lights, and blue in others. Congrats! And although tort goes well with almost any bass, I'd suggest keeping the mint pg on yours. It compliments the blue nicely.
Wow, my eyes must really be going in terms of colors - I would never have guessed blue - that looks like a faded tan, or almost (dare I say) pink, to me. Nice bass, though. (Guess I'm not color "blind", just color "wrong".)
If there was a white pg on that bass, the blue might stand out better, but in the OP's photo it definitely does look more white. In person, though, the faded sonic looks blue (on the couple examples I've seen). It really is a nice color.
Real men stick with Mint. (Cause they already have a couple torts.) Grrrreat faded blue! Prefer over my yellowish antique white.
I love the looks of the chrome pickup cover but its always right in the way. I thought about taking one, cutting the shape of the P pickup in it, shorten the whole thing and turn it into a chrome ramp. Does that make any sense? BTY thats one beautiful bass!
I use the pickup cover as a thumb rest, puts my hand close to where it is on the stingray. I also need to get a bridge cover without the mutes in it.
Really nice looking bass. I did a quick search for it, and the others I found do indeed look much more blue. It must have been the lighting or something on your photo that makes it look more off-white.
I'm guessing it was the orange-ness of the case inside that threw off my color perception into the pink range. Still hard to see it as blue even now, I guess...
