new bass on order - ERB inside

    here is the top of my coming Noguera YC custom 8 strings (from low F# to high F)

    for the spec' :
    - poplar burl top over alder bodie, with black veener
    - 34" maple neck (probably birdeyes, if not, US), 24 fret ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays (headstock match to the bodie top)
    - Noguera humcancelling pickups (wound by the CREL), ebony cover
    - Aguilar OBP-3 + active/passive push/pull on volume, mid @ 400Hz, 9V, alder cavity cover and fast access to the battery
    - Noguera bridge (19mm spacing :eek: ) in ebony and zinc
    - Hipshot ultralite leaf tuners (black)

    ok, i think i forget nothing !
    and of course, Snakeskins strings :bassist:

    there is a good chance for my neck to be in Brideyes Maple, Noguera have probably find a piece of wood stable enought for him (i mean very stable, as US maple) :hyper:

    think that I might have forgotten to ask earlier...

    why have you decided to go with a single piece neck?

    Christian Noguera think that one piece neck better trasmit the sound, because laminations (with the glue) act a filter for certain frequency, so at the end, the sound of the bass is not "flat"... as for the headstoc, it will be straight because breaking the grain of the wood, buy glueing, is bad for an headstock... :eek:
    think i forget nothing...

    so, i adapted myself to the luthier's tought, and i choose a really nice piece of wood for my neck :D
