  1. HOLY WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dang, through my rig (SWR Workingman 2004 and 4x10T, Tech 21 Sans Amp Bass Driver DI, various Monster and other cables)....dang, it's awesome. Doesn't matter to me that there's no tone control on passive mode, cuz it freakin roxors! The active mode is far more superior to the previous bass I owned...

  6. yeah... I'm sorry too...

    j/k ;)

    congrats! :D

  7. Am I just wierd or what, but I really like the passive mode on it better than the active? Is it because it produces a 70's aura? idk...

Yeah, you're weird. Most people buy that bass because they want to sound like Marcus. And Marcus definitely ain't passive. Nice instrument; congrats. Wish I had one.

BTW, Fender's also got a '77 Jazz reissue out, without the active Marcus doodads. Also a nice piece of work.

  9. Idk it sounds great and is super comfy...very good QC at the Japanese factory...

    Yup. My bad.

  12. Not everyone buys a signature instrument to sound like the guy. Sometimes they simply like the instrument... ( I love the Fender Stu Hamm Urge II but i really don't care about Stu Hamm )

Funny tale: This guy, aged 17, returned his MM sig, because, he couldn't get M's sound when he slapped. I'm guessing he should've bought M's talent, years of training, hands, brain, experience, groove, vibe, physical build, musical background, ............................
