New bass or mod old bass ?

    Mod a 2012 mim classic 60's jazz (new pick ups , hardware ) or purchase a new American standard jazz if you had a chance ?
    What would you do ?

    I wouldn't mod a vintage bass, period.

    Sorry about that brother , it's a 2012 mim classic 60's j . I wish I had a real 60's lol

    I'd say mod it if you're going for some specific sound. If you just want an upgrade, then you can go for the Am Standard.

    What mods are you thinking of? If you're wanting to turn it into an Am Standard, I say just get the real thing.

    I wanted to add some quarter pounders but the CS60's sound pretty good too . I really like the American std hardware though .
