Ahoy, hey, hello, and Good day

Im looking into new basses but i havent found quite what im looking for. I basicly want something that has the play and feel of the starter ibanez, but with a smoother sound. And perhaps, would just getting better pick ups be an effective alternative?...$1000 price limit on the bass...and would be usin it with a peavey basic 112 bass amp if it helps at all

My suggestion is to find out all the options within budget and a road trip. Then make a list and try them all. Then make a short list of ones you liked. Then take your amp into the shop and try the basses with it.

Narrow it down to your faves.

Come back here and ask questions re reliability and customer service. If any of those basses are made by TBers then ask them some questions.

    Make your choice. Buy it.

And finally troll every Sadowski thread stating how superior your bass is.
