I am looking to get another bass, but money is tight. I own a Peavey t 20 and a Washburn b 10. I'm thinking of selling the B-10 and picking up a "new" bass. Any opinions between an a MIM Fender Jazz and korean spector, and is it a step up from the Washburn? Also, anyone ever played a peavey t-45 (I don't know, I have always like Peavey).
Keep your Washburn and sell the T-20 to me... or we could do a trade... my SX J-bass for your T-20 with only one pickup... see what a great deal you'd be getting? BTW - it's been a long time since i last played a T-45 but I remember it to be like the T-40 and T-20... a great friggin bass.
Since you like Peaveys and are asking about a Jazz, you really should consider a Peavey Foundation. I have four, and would take one over a Jazz any day. They typically go on ebay for under $250. Jaymi has one in the classifieds for $225 shipped. Pretty solid deal. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=565559&highlight=peavey+foundation
I have a MIM Jazz and it plays and sounds better than any SX Jazz, think about it. Hey, that’s fun, I can just say anything I want like I know what I’m talking about.
You see, when a TB member who is hailed as much as myself gets his name changed, all h3ll breaks loose. Sorry to disturb your thread!
