i was just thinking of getting a new bridge, there is nothing wrong with the bridge i have now but i think a bigger heavier bridge is meant to give ur more sustain?

i just want some views on bridges , is it worth me getting a new bridge?

i have a fender mark hoppus bass the bridge has three screws and the strings go through the bass.

Yes, a heavier bridge will add some sustain. It's a slight difference to me, but one that I notice just the same.

A lot of people, especially those who use Fender/Squire, upgrade their standard bent plate bridge to a Leo Quan BadAss. If you have a string-thru bass, get the BadAss III. They're not cheap, almost $100, so you might want to look on Ebay.
