Alright here's my new Brubaker. I just picked it up from Kevin on Thurs. It sounds and feels incredible.

    - 6 string NBS Xtreme (24 fret, 34 3/4" scale)
    - spalted maple top
    - ash body
    - spalted maple fingerboard (over ebony fingerboard base)
    - hard maple neck
    - bartonlini quad coil pickups
    - bartolini NTMB pre-amp
    - RMC MIDI/piezo bridge pickup
    - hipshot tuners/ bridge
    - THG wooden knobs (spalted maple over walnut and flame maple bases)

    Let's see about some pics.

the spalt fingerboard does look amazing with the body.

The lower strings feel so nice too. Really tight and clear B string.

    Congrats, Jonesy:D

I'm very impressed with that RMC piezo/midi setup. Has a very acoustic sound to it. Sounded very nice alone and in conjunction with the mag pickups.

On the spacing I'd guess somewhere between 18 and 19mm. Very comfortable for me and I like wide spacing.

    Enjoy it.

    It is 19mm spacing.

The RMC is tracking really well through the Axon converter. The sound combinations added to the basses tonal options are blowing my mind :D

Brad - thanks for your advice and letting me check out your Brubaker's. I'm hooked.

Here's a closer look at the back, but my chandelere made a reflection at the bottom of the bass.

And here I thought my new gameboy advance sp was pretty swank. Damn, that's a beauty. I don't usually like the look of spalted, but that's just too damn pretty to not like. Nice choice.
