    Hey guys,

So I'm selling my Ampeg 8x10 since it doesn't fit in my new car. More or less just looking for opinions on what you would get to replace it. My current band is playing mostly atmospheric stuff with some elements of Black Metal, Doom, and Post Rock, down-tuned to drop C (CGCF).

I love the mids and punch from my 8x10, but don't necessarily need to replicate that, although I would like some punch.

What I'm looking at currently are two Bag End 15's (A S15D and S15XD), a Warwick WCA 4x10 and WCA 1x15 (The 400w 410 & 300w 115), or two matching 4x10's (Like the Eden SC4 or an ampeg model if I can find some cheap enough that aren't B models, which might not be likely since I need to decide soon). Current setup is a p bass with MFD's, Mesa 400, and I use a lot of OD/Fuzz/Reverb.

And of course, thank you all in advance for the help!

I don't know if you're bi-amping, so I vote for matching cabs of either the 410 or 15. I have a Peavey Max - Classic 120/120 (for Bi-amp), GK 212 and Peavey 410e rig, but I am running fullrange into the 212 and have the high range going to the 410e guitar speaker. I am getting rumble and clear OD. I have a Rockmaster also if I want to run the high through that.

Thanks for the help so far everyone!
  6. 2 x matching 15s. .. one for small gigs. I can't remember using the Mesa 400... if I have. ... but use yr eq for tonal variance

Added two WCA 15's to the poll, not a lot on them but the demo of it sounded good
  8. Un matched speakers MAY work well. ..but matched speakers WILL work well.
I've two Fender Bassman Pro Neo 115 cabs And they sound superb with whatever amp I use and. ... to my ears. ..sound great in whatever style of music I've used em in. Try as many as you can and preferably in a band setting. ..there's no better way to see how they fit into a mix.
By all means, try em by yourself too

Is it to late to return your new car and get something your gear fits into?

Both of those are relatively compact, especially the Dually.

    What is your budget?

IMO your 4 choices aren't in the top 10 of great cabs these days. What are you reasons for making these particular choices?

Well I've had my car for a few years actually, I just used to carry around my 810 in my old bands van which I left recently. Just doing side project stuff now with close friends
Around $500. I'm selling my 810 for $350 and I'm only allowing myself to send $150 on top of that
