This thing is a beast! I just picked it up at guitar center. Used, on sale for 300 USD. I thought it was a good deal. I a/b'ed this cab and a Genz Benz 410XB or something like that. This one was much deeper and much clearer. The highs rung out, the mids growled, and the lows packed a nice, tight punch.

I tested it with an old tube amp which was a bit muddy sounding, so then i plugged into a SWR Workingman's 2004. The tone was surprizingly clear. The Genz was just a bit muffled sounding with some buzzing. Once i plugged into the warwick cab, the sound opened up and I knew this was the one. I will report out again on tuesday when my Genz Benz GBE400 amp arrives! :bassist:

New rig = very happy camper! :hyper:

  4. Cool man, I've never played through a Warwick cab, or a Genz Benz cab, but it sounds like you got a good deal on the cab. Best of luck with it, new rigs rock.

i don't think i've ever seen warwick amps or cabs in person- a rare brand in the us, that's for sure. it sounds like a good deal though (and gc has a good return policy so it's a good chance to take)- hope it works out for you. looks to be in pretty good shape as well, and i'm glad to hear you tried it before you bought it. :bassist:
