I went and picked up my new Land Cruiser today. It's a hair smaller than my Sequoia, so that's why my Mackie PA is for sale. I need to buy a little smaller equipment so it'll fit in the back. Anyway, it's bitchen.

Bah, put the Mackie on the roof, put your arm out the window, and hold it in place. It is even easier with a person in the passenger seat helping you out. I have seen people do this all the time with plywood, etc. It must be safe. ;)

    Congrats on the new car!

  7. Better a Land Cruiser than a Land Rover. Congrats, they're very nice.

2005. The rumour is that they're going to quit building them now.

    with no trivia,
just like cocaine straight from Bolivia

Congratulations on the new ride. Are they pulling them from the North American market or ending production all together?

  15. They stopped building Lincoln Mark VIII's about 6 years ago......I guess I don't get the point? Would you go out and buy a leftover 2004 oldsmobile also?

I heard the same thing about the Toyotas - Although I've heard that Lexus will continue with the LX470 though.

I've always wanted a Land Cruiser. . . I was looking for a 94-97 with the 4.5L inline 6 and the factory lockers - those motors will easily last 400k miles if properly maintained.

I sold my last Land Cruiser (a '93) to a co-worker when it had 174,000 miles on it. It now has 260,000 miles on it, and has never had any engine work done on it. It's got that straight six in it, and it's bullet proof. I hope the V-8 lasts as long. My Sequoia is 4 years old, and has had no repairs of any kind. Well, I did have some new wiper blades put on it last week.

The dealer also told me that the LX 470 would stay in production. My wife has a GX 470, and it's my second favorite car of all time (the '93 Land Cruiser was my favorite).

The new ones are pretty nice but I am into the old ones. I would really like to get an FJ45 Wagon. I have never even seen one for sale. You see a lot of the pickups and FJ40s but the wagons must have all rusted apart by now.
