    Wow, these looks amazing! love the extra features on the V2 compared to the V1. The cabsim headphone jack is a nifty tool to have.

    Is it too soon for me to ask for an x series amp?? That's my favorite darkglass pedal, and I've owned one of each of their pedals at one point or another.

    Just my thoughts on initial look:
    PRO: I like that fact that the MT900 v2 has the USB, headphone out w/cab selectors, and AUX IN!!.
    PRO?: A compressor! One dial....hmmm....likely will not replace the compressor on my pedalboard.
    PRO?: Additional Speakon, so no need to daisy chain...not a huge deal...but nice!

    CON or PRO??: Slightly less flexible EQ compared to the MT900 v1 (750-1000 kHz). On the other hand, having the EQ with sliders is much easier than on the v1 with the tiny switches (almost impossible to read).

    CON: Smaller power switch. I know this may seem small to some, but I love the big meaty power switch on the v1.

    Overall, I think this is a great upgrade to an already excellent amp! I think I will hold on to my MT900 Medussa for aesthetics alone.

    These look cool, but does anyone know if the cab sim is active on the post-DI? Or just the headphone out? The manual seems to imply it's headphone out only but isn't completely clear.
    @Darkglass?

    Awesome! I'd love to get the Alpha-Omega 900 and run a dual amp setup with the Microtubes 900 I already have

    Does the master volume affect the DI ?
    ie will turning master up (or down) to adjust stage volume affect FOH ?

    I was curious about that too. The USB connection can be used to “load different cabinet impulses or change different parameters on your amp (midi, compressor, etc)”. Maybe “etc” allows for setting the DI volume. :)

    I don't see why it would. The master volume knob controls the power amp section.

    For me, I'd prefer the original EQ knobs. I'm disappointed in this change.

  20. From what I gather, the Pre DI output is a direct copy of input, so therefore not dependent on master volume. The Post DI is affected by drive, eq and master, and could have the cab sim. So yes, master volume will control the post DI. Best bit is being able to send both simultaneously to FOH and let them blend them together!
