new Dimmu Borgir album

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by ole Jason, Aug 9, 2003.

  1. Wow, I don't know if that last album was just a blurb cause of the lineup changes or what but death cult armageddon is great. The orchestral arrangements are some of the best I've heard in metal. While certainly a far cry from black metal this is definately worth giving a listen. Anyone know what orchestra was used in this? Gothenburg?

i'm chiming in a bit late on this one, but i think the new dimmu album rocks, in particular 'progenies of the great apocalypse.' here's a link to the video for that song if you guys haven't seen it yet...man, this rocks! and it's the prague philharmonic that provides orchestral duties...tres cool, my dogs
